The Robot Vacuum Deals Success Story You'll Never Believe

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep in areas you don't wish to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like an toy, not the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor.  automatic vacuum  could capture sand and small gravel which other robots aren't able to do. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. These robots come with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or adjust your home map, or change the room's label.

If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people however it will help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are some of the most advanced available - but it's also pricey.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The station's most appealing point is how it automates numerous tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've used that has done an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price price.

If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it will be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The most important characteristic that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
